Our client, located in Medina, OH, is seeking a Product Engineer for a 3 month contract assignment, potential to become direct hire. This position is responsible for designing and developing new implants and instrumentation systems. Must be able to work independently to complete device and instrument designs and initiate and complete development projects on time and within budget.
Key responsibilities of the position include:
o Design and develop new products as well as product changes and enhancements to existing devices
o Responsible for reliability and manufacturability of products or technologies developed.
o Responsible for compliance with QSR, international compliance standards, and company procedures.
o Solve mechanical engineering problems at the component through system level.
o Conduct testing utilizing existing test protocols or develop new ones as needed.
o Complete projects (including product enhancements) in a manner consistent with corporate objectives.
Requirements
o BS Mechanical Engineering, BS Metallurgical Engineering, BS Bio Engineering, MS Mechanical Engineering or other 4 year Engineering degree.
o 2 - 5 years minimum medical device, preferably orthopedic device or aerospace, design experience.
o Proficient in Solid Works software or other similar 3-D CAD program
o Working knowledge of applicable regulations and/or experience working in a regulated environment.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
