Summary:

The Sales Representative is responsible for selling and servicing new and existing accounts, create new ideas to increase barcode ribbon sales and perform basic office functions as needed. The candidate is required to be courteous and pay close attention to detail. In many cases, you will be the interface between the supplier, technical staff and/or the customer, and therefore required to have a good technical aptitude and the ability to listen to, understand, and explain trouble-shooting issues. It is also required to have an understanding of commercial issues such as: profit margins, payment terms, credit worthiness, etc.

Responsibilities:

Tasks and Responsibilities

Sell thermal transfer bar code ribbons and pressure sensitive labels to label converters, Value Added Resellers (VAR's),and distributors in the US and Canada
Build strong relationships that will ensure repeat business
Make cold calls from provided lists and research to discover new leads
Respond to incoming sales calls in a courteous and timely manner (top priority) and return calls promptly
Maintain complete and accurate records of all customer communications
Submit quotations in a professional manner, including a detailed description of what is
being supplied, and of company terms and conditions and follow up on all quotations


Required Knowledge/Skills/Job Qualifications

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Manage multiple relationships well
Detail oriented and organized
Aggressive, competitive and committed
Highly motivated with a desire to be successful
Effective time management skills
College degree preferred
Prior telemarketing and/or sales experience preferred
Experience in business to business (BtoB) sales preferred, particularly selling to distribution channels
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
