Responsibilities - Automotive Technician:




  • Quickly and efficiently perform routine maintenance and service, identify the cause of defects, and troubleshoot and repair them using the most optimal solutions and efficiency

  • Conferring with customers or service advisors to obtain descriptions of vehicle problems and discussing work to be performed

  • Assist technicians with their skills, provide technical support when needed, and monitor performance and productivity

  • Make sure to completely notate repairs and concerns through ADP/CDK

  • Test and adjust required systems to meet manufacturers' performance specifications

  • Ensure that the shop is in excellent condition with regard to cleanliness, safety, and equipment condition, and conduct periodic spot checks to maintain high-quality service

  • Test-drive vehicles; testing components and systems; using equipment such as infrared engine analyzer, compression gauges, and computerized diagnostic devices

Qualifications - Automotive Technician:




  • Previous experience as an Automotive Service Technician required

  • ASE Certified, Master Certified, and/or Nissan Certified is preferred

  • Ohio State Vehicle Inspection qualified is a plus!

  • Be prepared to work extended hours when necessary to achieve goals.

  • Must hold a valid driver's license.

  • Team-oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service

  • Computer skills

  • Must supply own tools (special/job-specific tools and equipment provided by dealership)
