Summary:
To assist the Director of Business with budgeting, financial reporting, annual cost report, contracts and day to day operations.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:

Assist the Director of Business with the closing of monthly financials, including the preparation and analysis of monthly department expenditure reports, revenue reports and reconciliation reports for Department Heads, Superintendent and the Board.
Review check runs completed by the Confidential Business Clerk to ensure accuracy of invoices, account codes and backup documentation.
Assist the Director of Business in the preparation of the Annual Agency Budget.
Assist the Director of Business with all local state and federal reporting requirements, including the annual State Operating Expenditures and Income Report (cost report) and annual county audit reports.
Assist the Director of Business with department budgets and the preparation of periodic budget reports for each Department Head.
Assist the Director of Business in setting up allocations for various department expenses, as may be required.
Assist the Director of Business in budgeting, monitoring and oversight of the Donated Fund accounts.
Assist the Director of Business in completion of ODE grants, including application, cash requests, and reporting.
Assist the Director of Business with contract monitoring and compliance.
Processing and reporting of Accounts Receivable to include cash management, invoicing, and monitoring.
Reconcile expenses and revenue to County on a monthly basis.
Prepare and post accounting transactions to financial software, as may be required by the Director of Business.
Maintain central supply inventory and monthly report preparation.
Maintain agency inventory, asset information and processes for reporting purposes with the Director of Facilities and Information Technology.
Coordinate asset report with the County Auditor.
Assist the Director of Business in developing and maintaining business files and records, in accordance with Federal, State and Local requirements.
Assist the Director of Business in preparing and processing transfer resolutions with the county auditor, as needed.
Cross train to serve as back up for the Confidential Business Clerk.
Non-supervisory oversight of the Confidential Business Clerk position to ensure timeliness of the PO process, travel requests, and ordering.
Responsible for completing special projects and assignments as may be required.
Work on special assignments and projects as directed by the Director of Business.
