Quality Technician
Position
Summary:
Responsible for monitoring, recording, reporting and follow-up on specified samples as a part of the verification and validation processes of our Quality Management System including but not limited to in-process production and various inventories in a safe, accurate, and timely manner.
Responsibilities:
Ensures conformance in area of responsibility within the ISO/Team requirements.
Coordinates with other quality, production and warehouse associates.
Maintains computer data files for SPC.
Communicate issues and resolution with production associates.
Conducts 1st articles as required Provides required support to Production in any aspect of conformance to requirements.
Observes all local and Company safety policies and procedures as well as housekeeping requirements.
Miscellaneous related duties as assigned.
Optional participation on the Safety committee.
Responsible for adhering to all work instructions related to job tasks.
Responsible for reporting food safety issues to personnel with authority to initiate action.
Requirements:
Strong verbal communication skills as demonstrated during the interviewing processes to effectively communicate with Team Leaders, peers, management, customers, and vendor representatives.
Strong inter-personal skills as demonstrated during the interviewing process and verifiable references.
Ability to successfully complete the Quality Technician Initial Training Outline/Sequence.
Completion of an internal SPC course.
Ability to use statistical problem-solving methods.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent Work overtime as necessary, based on production needs/demands.
