Mechanical Engineer (SolidWorks) - Medina, Ohio - JOB 23-00578 Salary Range:
$60K - $80K Permanent Position with Benefits.
Our client company located in Medina County is seeking a Mechanical Engineer.
Key responsibilities of the Mechanical Engineer are to research and design mechanical products, equipment, systems, and processes.
Create engineering drawings using Solid Works software.
Generate and maintain bills of materials and cost estimating.
REQUIREMENTS Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field OR 5 years' relative work experience.
Experience in the design of large, welded structures, material handling equipment, and/or electrical/mechanical and controls integration a PLUS.
Must have experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
Must be able to calculate and apply tolerances (ASME Y14.
5-2009) Experience/Knowledge conducting feasibility studies for new designs and concepts.
Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
Must have excellent communications skills (written & verbal) Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
