4 Quick Apply Full-time 11 hours ago Full Job Description Discount Drug Mart is seeking a positive, highly motivated Insurance Verifier to join our PME&S team at our Medina, Ohio location! Responsibilities and Duties:
Responsible for contacting insurances to verify coverage for durable medical equipment and supplies.
Must maintain strong knowledge of in and out of network plans, commercial insurance policies, procedures, and their rules and regulations Understand medical necessities, deductibles and copays.
Contact insurance companies and DDM stores for verifications and confirmations Update doctors records and notes into current DDM systems Communicates any problems and concerns to supervisor that may lead to inaccurate or untimely completion of reimbursement processing.
Requirements and Education:
Must have well-developed organizational skills with high attention to detail.
Must have the ability to independently within established policies and procedures.
Must have excellent verbal and written skills.
Must have proficient computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word and must be able to use Outlook.
